Requirements

  • •Degree in Meteorology, Physics or similar
  • •Effective English and basic French skills
  • •Understanding of meteorological satellite products
  • •Knowledge of satellite remote sensing methods
  • •Strong IT skills in specific software
  • •Adaptability in complex, fast-changing environments
  • •Excellent team-working and interpersonal skills
  • •Very good presentation and writing skills
  • •Experience with Spaceborne meteorological sensing advantageous
  • •Nationality of EUMETSAT Member State

Education

Bachelor's degree

Tasks

  • •Support the roll-out of new meteorological products
  • •Coordinate satellite product operations across programs
  • •Process instrument data from Level 0 to Level 2
  • •Assist Product Validation Review Boards
  • •Maintain data processing system documentation
  • •Monitor and report on operational products
  • •Resolve technical enquiries from the user community
  • •Configure and manage routine data processing operations
