- •Degree in remote sensing, meteorology or equivalent
- •Effective English and basic French skills
- •Experience in spacecraft and ground operations
- •Experience in team leading and coordination
- •Experience in System Engineering and Development
- •Experience in large project management
- •Strong inter-personal and teamwork skills
- •Competence in planning and scheduling
- •Experience in international cooperation (advantageous)
- •Nationality of EUMETSAT Member State
- •Disclosure of all nationalities held

Tasks
- •Supervise the Copernicus System Operations Team
- •Coordinate activities of outsourced services
- •Support the System Operations Manager
- •Engineer end-to-end Copernicus system operations
- •Ensure compliance with Service Level Specifications
- •Define and implement service monitoring
- •Maximize synergies across multi-mission operations
- •Collaborate with internal technical departments
- •Liaise with external entities like ESA and NASA
- •Define future satellite operations concepts
- •Plan system level verification activities
- •Participate in management coordination groups
- •Manage operations engineering change requests
- •Deputize for the System Operations Manager
