Requirements

  • •Technical education, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or previous experience in electrical- or mechanical installation work in large scale projects
  • •At least 6-8 years of work experience within relevant field
  • •Experience in managing people
  • •Experience in installation management
  • •Previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical installation
  • •Previous experience from HVDC, FACTS or Substation projects
  • •Proficiency in English, written and spoken

Vocational certification

Tasks

  • •Lead a team of installation experts
  • •Manage installation and testing of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • •Oversee subcontractors performing installation work
  • •Plan and coordinate installation activities
  • •Ensure project targets for safety, quality, schedule, and budget are met
  • •Support subcontracting works related to installation
  • •Read and understand contractual documentation
  • •Prepare and plan installation activities in early project stages
  • •Guide subcontractors to complete installation activities efficiently
  • •Coordinate installation activities with the Site Manager and stakeholders
  • •Manage and coach Installation Supervisors
  • •Coordinate with engineering office for necessary documentation
  • •Provide mark-ups for as-built project documentation
