Requirements

  • •Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering
  • •At least 5 years in energy field, electrical power, electromechanical design, auxiliary power design, or civil design for large projects
  • •Experience with HVDC technology or similar business
  • •Experience from site work, installation, and/or commissioning
  • •Engagement, ambition, and drive
  • •Understanding of technical topics and HVDC
  • •Strong sense of responsibility
  • •Comfort with decision making
  • •Fluency in English and German
  • •Passion for people and technology

Work Experience

Tasks

  • •Lead the Plants and civil team as a positive technical leader
  • •Drive the vision and technical deliverables for projects
  • •Collaborate closely with the Project Lead Engineer and Project engineering manager
  • •Take responsibility for the overall design of HVDC land stations and offshore platforms
  • •Understand customer specifications to determine optimal HVDC solutions
  • •Coordinate technical aspects with Electromechanical design and Civil design teams
  • •Ensure proper placement of equipment in CAD layouts
  • •Manage auxiliary power systems, including cables and transformers
  • •Oversee quality processes and address technical risks
  • •Represent Plants in internal and external meetings with customers and partners
