- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Knowledge of EN/ISO standards, CPSC, CPSIA, and applicable regulations
- Process-oriented with exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated with eagerness to learn and develop skills
Tasks
- Collaborate with Product Development on early-stage quality integration
- Act as quality decision-maker at innovation gates
- Develop frameworks and testing protocols for emerging technologies
- Conduct Design for Quality initiatives to enhance manufacturability and reliability
- Support portfolio reviews by evaluating quality risk and technology readiness
- Define and maintain quality gates and decision criteria
- Design and implement innovative testing methodologies with R&D
- Collaborate with external research institutions and test labs
- Evaluate quality implications of new materials and processes
- Establish and improve innovation-related processes in the quality management system
- Contribute to risk assessments and hazard identification
- Manage compliance testing and certification tracking
- Stay current on global test standards and regulatory requirements
- Verify product quality through structured reporting and issue tracking
