Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Biomedical/Medical Engineering, Software Engineering, Engineering, or comparable technical field
  • Approximately 4+ years relevant professional experience beyond education in MedTech environment
  • Experience in medical software validation, ideally in Ultrasound
  • Strong affinity for software development
  • Experience in requirements engineering or keen to deepen skills
  • Solid background in regulated MedTech, awareness of IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA, EU MDR
  • Experience in Ultrasound and/or hospital IT environment (esp. DICOM or HL7)
  • Well-organized, independent, and structured manner of working
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ability to align across functions
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and continuously improve
  • Fluent in German and English for daily work

Tasks

  • Drive R&D delivery of complex AI-based medical software
  • Ensure medical validation and end-to-end traceability
  • Maintain regulatory-ready development across teams
  • Monitor and report software development project progress
  • Plan, coordinate, and document software validation activities
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
  • Create, review, maintain, and ensure consistency of R&D documentation
  • Guard agile ways of working while adhering to standards
  • Proactively remove impediments and manage dependencies
  • Support requirements engineering for high-quality, testable requirements
  • Ensure end-to-end tracking and verification of requirements
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
