Requirements

  • Extensive procurement/sourcing experience with €/$250M–$500M+ indirect spend
  • Significant leadership experience in comparable role
  • Proven European, multi-country procurement experience in global matrix organization
  • Strong commercial, financial, and negotiation expertise
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Solid understanding of European regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages (French, German) a plus
  • Specific experience in comparable industry or categories an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent certification desirable

Tasks

  • Lead Europe indirect procurement strategy
  • Align with global objectives, policies, and governance
  • Provide leadership and development to a team of 30 indirect procurement experts
  • Oversee major indirect categories: IT & Telecom, Professional Services, Marketing, Facilities & FM, HR Services, Travel & Fleet
  • Deliver measurable value through savings, cost avoidance, demand management, and productivity improvements
  • Partner with senior leaders in IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations
  • Manage strategic suppliers and third-party risk (GDPR, resiliency, financial stability)
  • Drive digital adoption of Source-to-Pay tools, analytics, and standardized processes
  • Embed ESG and responsible sourcing into procurement decisions
