Requirements
- •Senior-level experience in ISO standards, conformity assessment, or sustainability assurance
- •Expertise in ISO management systems, accreditation frameworks, and assurance methodologies
- •Understanding of impartiality, independence, and conflict-of-interest management
- •Ability to assess evidence objectively and act independently
- •Knowledge of Fairtrade or comparable sustainability and verification schemes
- •Constructive discussion, consensus-building, and virtual teamwork skills
- •Awareness of confidentiality and data protection requirements
- •Fluency in written and spoken English
- •Availability for regular meetings and ad-hoc consultations
Tasks
- •Safeguard independence and non-discrimination in assurance activities
- •Identify and address risks to impartiality
- •Advise on measures for transparency and trust
- •Establish working groups on specific topics
- •Request corrective actions from management when necessary
- •Review individual cases and risk assessments
- •Evaluate supporting documentation for decision-making
- •Prepare thoroughly for all committee meetings
- •Participate regularly in scheduled committee sessions
- •Handle detailed and sensitive information professionally
