Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science
- 5+ years manufacturing operations experience, preferably pharmaceutical/chemical
- Experience applying Health and Safety regulations and developing HSE programs
- Authorization to work in Germany required
- Desirable qualifications in waste management, fire protection, explosion protection, machine safety, hazardous materials, management systems
- Excellent organization, time management, analytical skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and interfacing with HSE regulatory agencies
Tasks
- Assist in developing HSE operational readiness plan
- Lead implementation of HSE programs
- Support project team on health and safety decisions
- Develop and roll out safety and health programs
- Build partnerships with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering
- Serve as site HSE program expert
- Coordinate and submit internal and external reports
- Support operational areas in regulatory compliance
- Complete internal HSE audits
- Lead and support incident investigations
- Trend HSE data and compile metrics
- Develop long-term improvement plans
- Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and contractors
- Access manufacturing and laboratory areas with PPE
