Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, HR Management, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in People Operations or HR
- Proficiency in German and English
- Experience with HRIS systems (ideally Personio or HiBob)
- Strong expertise and passion for operational People side
- Hands-on payroll experience in Germany
- Experience with ticketing systems, managing SLAs, and employee requests
- Ownership and proactive identification of improvement areas
- Empathy, excellent organizational skills, and pragmatic mindset
- Clear and confident communication skills
Tasks
- Ensure seamless employee experience across Europe
- Manage payroll processes in Germany and Austria
- Collaborate with external tax offices
- Partner with EOR provider for smooth onboarding and compliance
- Support audits and maintain accurate employee data
- Identify and implement process automation and simplification
- Take ownership of People Operations topics
- Update policies and document processes
- Roll out new tools and systems
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, and Legal
- Support office-related tasks in Hamburg
