Requirements

• •Two years Hotel Manager experience
• •Knowledge of the German market
• •International experience preferred
• •Development Teams and motivation skills
• •University degree in Tourism or equivalent
• •Functional knowledge of department operations
• •Human Resources Management and Talent Development
• •Knowledge of hotel management IT tools
• •High geographical flexibility
• •Ability to reside in Hamburg
• •Mandatory fluent English and German

Tasks

• •Oversee all daily hotel operations
• •Lead and inspire the hotel team
• •Implement company procedures and strategic plans
• •Design and monitor budgets and action plans
• •Analyze business plans with the Director of Operations
• •Review weekly financial results and occupancy reports
• •Control costs and identify revenue opportunities
• •Resolve causes of budget or performance deviations
• •Participate in forecast meetings and business reviews
• •Foster teamwork and cross-departmental communication
• •Guide department heads to increase employee satisfaction
• •Align leadership styles with the organizational culture
• •Set and monitor departmental performance goals
• •Manage union meetings and related labor issues
• •Promote staff training and professional development
• •Lead daily briefings and management meetings
• •Supervise facility maintenance and quality standards
• •Ensure guest and team member security
• •Investigate and report on customer complaints
• •Enforce health and safety regulation compliance
