Requirements

• •Minimum 5 years of product, commercial or operational leadership in the energy sector
• •Proven experience managing product managers or cross-functional teams
• •Experience building or scaling products in energy retail, tariffs, or flexibility services
• •Deep understanding of energy retail business across multiple countries
• •Strong familiarity with regulatory frameworks and market operations in the energy sector
• •Exposure to flexibility services, distributed energy resources, and digital energy services
• •Comfortable engaging with technical teams on system architecture and data flows
• •Strong operational discipline and ability to translate complexity into scalable models
• •Excellent commercial awareness with strong analytical skills
• •Strategic thinker who can deliver in a fast-paced environment
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and German
• •Able to influence and align internal and external stakeholders
• •Proven ability to lead people and drive cross-functional collaboration
• •Entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable in a high-growth context
• •Passionate about the energy transition and renewable energy

Tasks

• •Define the global utility product vision
• •Set and manage the product strategy for utility services
• •Drive the long-term roadmap for energy management
• •Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers
• •Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
• •Develop global standards for systems and processes
• •Ensure consistent operation of retail energy products
• •Oversee market operations processes including metering and trading
• •Collaborate with Engineering and Energy Operations teams
• •Define and track KPIs for product performance
• •Use data to inform strategic decisions
• •Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• •Stay ahead of regulatory and technological trends
• •Translate market opportunities into product initiatives
• •Partner with Sales and Marketing for product positioning
