Requirements

  • Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or comparable field
  • Experience as Systems Lead, Chief Engineer, or similar with end-to-end system responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes (e.g., INCOSE, ISO 15288)
  • Experience with aviation certification standards (e.g., ARP4754A) and safety methods (e.g., FHA, DFMEA)
  • Proven expertise in System architecture and design, Requirements engineering and traceability, System-level validation and verification
  • Experience with MBSE tools and modern systems engineering methods
  • Strong ability to make system-level decisions and technical trade-offs
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on approach
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High ownership, quality focus, and structured working style
  • Thrives in collaborative environments and values collective success

Tasks

  • Build, lead, and grow the Systems Engineering team
  • Ensure strong team performance and delivery of key product milestones
  • Define and drive the systems engineering strategy
  • Align strategy with product and company goals
  • Own the overall system design of the UAV platform
  • Ensure the UAV platform is robust and scalable
  • Prepare the UAV platform for certification
  • Make key system design decisions
  • Guide system design decisions across software, hardware, and mechanics
  • Drive the development of the system architecture
  • Ensure all system parts work together seamlessly
  • Ensure clear and structured requirements
  • Maintain full traceability from needs to implementation
  • Lead system-level testing and validation
  • Ensure the product meets certification requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing team
