Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in bioprocess engineering, (pharmaceutical) biotechnology, or comparable field
  • •5 years biopharmaceutical production and 2 years leadership experience
  • •In-depth knowledge of upstream, downstream processes, and eukaryotic cell systems
  • •Fluency in German and English
  • •Strong communication, analytical thinking, and team orientation
  • •Strong hands-on mentality

Tasks

  • •Lead the MS&T team functionally and disciplinarily
  • •Ensure compliance with HSE and GMP regulatory requirements
  • •Provide scientific support for the entire manufacturing process
  • •Develop and refine small-scale production models
  • •Implement site-specific MS&T structures following global standards
  • •Execute process optimization projects and change requests
  • •Participate actively in regulatory audits and inspections
  • •Establish and maintain continuous process monitoring
  • •Create and update relevant SOPs and documentation
  • •Support production units with process validations
  • •Lead complex deviation investigations and root cause analyses
  • •Define and implement effective CAPA measures
  • •Conduct internal technical trainings to build site expertise
  • •Represent the Head of Production in selected committees
