- Built partner acquisition motions (referral, SEO, SaaS listings, community)
- Ability to find and convert small business partners at scale
- Affiliate and deal mechanics expertise
- Commission design, tiering, caps, placements, promo strategy
- Partner governance (SEM rules, coupon policy, fraud prevention)
- Ability to negotiate and audit deals
- Analytical and incrementality fluency
- Understanding of attribution trade-offs, holdout tests, cannibalization
- Ability to translate data into deal terms and budget moves
- Lifecycle thinking
- Shipped or overseen activation and retention via product and email
- Experience with onboarding flows, time-to-first-sale, performance digests, win-back
- Thinking in partner journeys
- People leadership experience
- Operational excellence
- Hired, coached, and run a team of 3–15
- Experience building scalable systems and dashboards
- Cross-functional credibility
- Partnered with Product on tooling roadmaps
- Partnered with Finance on payout economics

Tasks
- Define and justify investment for three growth channels
- Allocate budget, commissions, time, and headcount for profitable growth
- Own and prioritize the partner pipeline across all channels
- Decide quickly which initiatives to scale and which to park
- Structure deals with commission tiers, caps, bonuses, and placements
- Run campaigns from start to finish
- Prove and restructure the economics of incremental vs. last-click noise
- Tighten governance on SEM policy, coupon leakage, fraud, and brand safety
- Build the SMB-style partner acquisition motion end-to-end
- Develop the lifecycle stack for partner productivity
- Stand up the BD motion and partner economics
- Test and evaluate new partnership models
- Define and build the minimum operating model for experiments
- Make clear, time-bound decisions to scale, hand off, or kill initiatives
- Hire and coach a team across BD, growth marketing, lifecycle, and ops
- Build cadences, dashboards, and playbooks for partner management
- Set quality standards for tracking activation rates, time-to-first-transaction, and retention
- Work closely with Enterprise Partnerships for shared infrastructure and standards
