Requirements

Tasks

  • Lead strategic and operational management of DACH Works Council activities
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws
  • Foster constructive relationships with employee representatives and works councils
  • Drive continuous improvement in employee relations and Works Council effectiveness
  • Serve as primary liaison between company leadership and Works Council representatives
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels
  • Guarantee timely information and consultation on DACH projects
  • Lead complex Works Council negotiations
  • Prepare and follow up on negotiations with relevant departments
  • Oversee training and cost coverage for Works Council functioning
  • Develop and implement strategies for Works Council agreements and dispute resolution
  • Advise leadership on implications of Works Council agreements and employee relations risks
  • Partner with global/European CoE, P&C, Legal, and Business Leaders
  • Ensure alignment and consistency in employee relations
  • Govern negotiations strategies with Works Council
  • Achieve mutually beneficial outcomes in negotiations
  • Strengthen the company’s reputation as an employer of choice
  • Advise senior leadership on Works Council matters
  • Support strategic P&C decisions and business continuity
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with employee representatives and external legal advisors
  • Educate and engage senior management in the Works Council process
  • Foster understanding, buy-in, and proactive involvement in Works Council activities
  • Implement existing works agreements
  • Optimize sustainable, scalable, and efficient implementation of works agreements
