Requirements

- Long-standing experience in labor relations and employee engagement
- Proven track record managing Works Council or similar forums

- Cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate complex environments
Tasks
- Lead strategic and operational management of DACH Works Council activities
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws
- Foster constructive relationships with employee representatives and works councils
- Drive continuous improvement in employee relations and Works Council effectiveness
- Serve as primary liaison between company leadership and Works Council representatives
- Maintain open and effective communication channels
- Guarantee timely information and consultation on DACH projects
- Lead complex Works Council negotiations
- Prepare and follow up on negotiations with relevant departments
- Oversee training and cost coverage for Works Council functioning
- Develop and implement strategies for Works Council agreements and dispute resolution
- Advise leadership on implications of Works Council agreements and employee relations risks
- Partner with global/European CoE, P&C, Legal, and Business Leaders
- Ensure alignment and consistency in employee relations
- Govern negotiations strategies with Works Council
- Achieve mutually beneficial outcomes in negotiations
- Strengthen the company’s reputation as an employer of choice
- Advise senior leadership on Works Council matters
- Support strategic P&C decisions and business continuity
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with employee representatives and external legal advisors
- Educate and engage senior management in the Works Council process
- Foster understanding, buy-in, and proactive involvement in Works Council activities
- Implement existing works agreements
- Optimize sustainable, scalable, and efficient implementation of works agreements
