Requirements

• •Master or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field
• •7+ years experience in Data Science with at least 3 years in leadership
• •5+ years experience in delivering and maintaining machine learning and data science algorithms in production
• •Demonstrated success in managing and leading high-performing Data Science teams
• •Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• •Track record of successfully delivering technically advanced data products on time
• •Ability to technically and scientifically lead applied research projects
• •Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
• •Enjoyment of solving problems and sparring ideas in a cross-functional team
• •Experience in leading a mix of Data Science and Software Teams
• •Experience in building data science teams
• •Experience in the energy industry

Tasks

• •Lead and grow the Data Science team
• •Provide direction, coaching, and support to Data Scientists and Data Engineers
• •Research, develop, and adapt algorithms for energy system optimization
• •Drive talent development within the Data Science team

• •Expand and evolve the cloud-based service offering
