- 10+ years experience in international firms and compliance leadership
- Experience as an in-house counsel
- Experience in complex international listed settings
- Passed bar exam
- Fluent English and French as an asset
- Ability to motivate global professional teams
- Willingness to travel
Tasks
- Report directly to the CLCO
- Sponsor compliance and ethical principles across the group
- Ensure adherence to applicable legislation and company policies
- Implement a new global compliance program and structure
- Provide the Executive Committee and Board with framework assurance
- Set and oversee Givaudan's compliance strategy
- Align compliance with the evolving business model and growth agenda
- Lead the implementation of the compliance organization
- Clarify roles, reporting lines, and decision rights
- Define the role of compliance to improve company culture
- Revise internal policies to promote integrity as a company-wide value
- Partner with senior leadership to govern compliance risks
- Establish escalation protocols and transparent reporting
- Build a legal team with necessary capabilities and tools
- Manage compliance aspects of group activities across regions
- Coordinate compliance approaches across divisions
- Support group functions with sound compliance approaches
- Ensure availability of compliance resources and competences
- Design compliance policies to govern group activities
- Advise on achieving group goals and individual strategies
- Design and coordinate global processes and standards
- Coach teams on addressing compliance with third parties
- Manage compliance projects and scout for new technologies
- Hire and manage outside consultants and service providers
- Implement policies and training for whistleblowing and antitrust
- Establish anti-bribery and data protection training
- Advise Executive Committee members on compliance topics
- Stay informed about legal developments in the compliance field
- Manage whistleblowing lines and internal investigations
- Guide the compliance mindset with the Executive Committee
- Manage a modern, risk-based compliance framework worldwide
- Implement monitoring and preventive controls
- Report compliance issues to the Executive and Audit Committees
- Create integrated governance platforms for aligned assurance
- Lead and develop professional compliance staff
- Ensure activities are conducted ethically and according to guidelines
