Tasks

  • Lead implementation of impact-focused communications and patient advocacy strategies
  • Enhance Novartis Germany’s corporate reputation and business outcomes
  • Engage with media, patient communities, influencers, and associates
  • Represent the function on the Country Leadership Team (CLT)
  • Serve as a trusted partner and counselor to the Country President
  • Leverage real-time data to model trends and anticipate future needs
  • Develop and drive performance of the Communications & Patient Advocacy team
  • Provide counsel on latest communications channels and trends
  • Utilize data to shape business goals and outcomes
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Foster collaboration across teams and geographies
  • Support integrated learning and interdependent working
  • Oversee execution of therapeutic area communications and patient advocacy strategies
  • Prioritize audience mapping and insights-based decision making
  • Implement influencer engagement strategies
  • Drive local corporate communications strategy
  • Manage media relations and policy communications
  • Partner with Public Affairs on relevant inflection points
  • Craft and implement impactful messaging and media tactics
  • Execute communications strategies during issues and crises
  • Act as the local Novartis spokesperson
  • Represent Novartis in external forums and partnerships
  • Drive talent management and growth for team members
  • Align with Novartis and Corporate Affairs culture and priorities
  • Manage the Country C&PtA budget
  • Ensure ethical dispensing of Patient Advocacy grants and sponsorships
