As the Head of Automation, you will lead a dynamic team, driving strategic transformation projects while implementing global standards and innovative solutions. Your role will focus on optimizing automation technology and ensuring efficient processes at the manufacturing site.
Requirements
- Proven successful deployment of automation and digital projects
- Degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable studies
- Relevant professional experience in electrical engineering and automation
- Sound knowledge of process control systems and automation systems
- Significant knowledge and experience in PLC and SCADA systems
- Fluent programming skills in Python and SQL
- Sound experience in project management
- Experience in defining, implementing, and managing work structures
- Leadership skills and high sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and team spirit
- Fluency in English
Tasks
- Lead the Automation team at the manufacturing site
- Implement global automation standards and develop site-specific solutions
- Create project plans, URS, FRS, and commissioning documents for automated systems
- Develop strategic initiatives and present best practices in automation
- Deliver innovative approaches to automation and digital solutions
- Automate and validate data management processes
- Support and maintain the BI system and its infrastructure
- Optimize, standardize, and upgrade existing automation technology
- Ensure availability and efficient flow of systems and processes
- Implement and manage access and virus protection for automation systems
