- Set goals and responsibilities for team members
- Maintain close collaboration with breeding programs
- Support development of deep expertise in the team
- Review marker and genotyping strategies with breeders
- Identify optimization potentials in breeding processes
- Organize and implement pilot projects
- Develop and monitor methods and tools for marker application
- Exploit synergies across different crops
- Work on joint responsibility topics with the breeding technology leadership team
