Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering and new processes implementation in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Project management and team leadership experience
  • Strong leadership with strategic mindset, critical thinking, problem-solving, and business insight
  • Credible communicator who aligns, plans, and drives results
  • Proficiency in relevant software and project management
  • Persistence, achievement-orientation, and curiosity

Tasks

  • Lead engineering strategy for Fill & Finish
  • Align with global production and technical standards
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams
  • Drive standardization and innovation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and budget
  • Represent Global Engineering in local investment projects
  • Collaborate with local Lead Engineers on deliverables
  • Establish and review design requirements
  • Plan and develop process units and systems
  • Create layouts and functional flows
  • Review project descriptions and process flow diagrams
  • Coordinate design engineers for process equipment
  • Implement Octapharma engineering concepts and standards
  • Compare technical and commercial solutions
  • Ensure cGMP level of solutions and documentation
  • Collaborate on strategic development of design solutions
  • Support company requirements for capacity and efficiency
  • Transfer standards to local sites
  • Participate in further development
  • Act as internal consultant and expert in area of expertise
