Ground Segment System Engineer(m/w/x)

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
• System engineering experience
• Project management experience
• Experience in ground segment systems lifecycle (analysis, design, development, integration, verification, validation, operations, maintenance)
• Project planning, execution, monitoring, control, and/or closure experience
• Service specifications preparation and maintenance capability
• System requirements and design document preparation, system level analysis for complex satellite systems
• Project documentation preparation (forms, plans, schedules, budgets, resources)
• Technical requirements writing experience (preferably ECSS standards)
• Project management tools and techniques utilization experience
• ICDs (Interface Control Documents) preparation and maintenance capability
• Knowledge of satellite ground segment system engineering, system/software life-cycles, and standards
• Knowledge of project management processes and standards
• Requirements structure definition, management, traceability with dedicated tools (e.g. DOORS)
• Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) experience for complex systems
• Testing coordination, execution, and verification activities experience
• Knowledge in AI/ML technologies, models, and supporting SW frameworks
• Knowledge in Data distribution and dissemination
• Knowledge in Ground Segment Monitoring
• Knowledge in Archive systems
• Knowledge in Computer systems, Network systems, and IT Security
• High degree of working autonomy
• Practical knowledge in project management standards and frameworks (e.g. PMI PMBOOK, PRINCE2)
• Practical knowledge in Configuration Control
• Fluency in English
