Tasks
- Coordinate requirements engineering and cost-at-completion data
- Manage mission-specific system engineering and operations preparation
- Support new resilience and security initiatives
- Assess mission-specific cybersecurity requirements
- Implement and validate security measures for end-to-end service delivery
- Interface with third-party partners for security measures
- Ensure quality, time, and resource balance in ground segment delivery
- Initiate and follow up mission-specific infrastructure modifications
- Define and coordinate test and validation programmes
- Support launch and early orbit phases as part of Operations Manager Team
- Coordinate ground facilities scheduling and operations
- Interface with Network Control Centre for mission phases
- Provide regular and event-driven reporting to customers and management
- Participate in project reviews and control boards
- Act as user representative in ground systems development
- Support security assessments of ground operations and missions
- Engage in business development for ESTRACK TT&C utilisation
- Amend and enhance ESTRACK services
- Procure commercial tracking capacity
- Drive commercialisation of ESTRACK services for European industry
- Interface with international partners and third-party organisations
- Support establishment of cross-support agreements and contracts
- Manage payload acquisition and TT&C services for internal customers
- Provide support to other internal units
- Support training and simulations for mission operations
- Assist Head of Section in multi-mission ground facilities activities
