Requirements

• •Experience in customs agency or related industry
• •Knowledge of EU import/export regulations
• •Experience with global trade software platforms
• •Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
• •Interpersonal skills and ability to lead others
• •Business-level German and English

Tasks

• •Establish localized operational import and export procedures
• •Maintain localized operational import and export procedures
• •Interface with site management and partners for compliance
• •Act as the primary contact for government agencies
• •Address requests for customs audits and inspections
• •Support external reviews to minimize adverse impacts
• •Manage daily import and export operational activities
• •Resolve customs issues causing border delays
• •Oversee financial and operational trade metrics
• •Develop strategies for trade issues and opportunities
• •Conduct training to improve business knowledge and performance
• •Manage customs broker relationships and performance
• •Initiate duty management projects and special trade programs
• •Monitor regulatory changes impacting manufacturing operations
• •Alert internal parties to potential legislative impacts
• •Support sites with required government licenses and permits
