Global Trade Technology Manager(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will be the go-to expert for export and import classification, ensuring the smooth operation of the Collins Aerospace TM program. Your daily responsibilities will include training classifiers, evaluating performance metrics, and collaborating with teams to enhance classification processes.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree in a related field and minimum 4 years of experience, or 11 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree
• •Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
• •Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• •Adequate computer skills to use internal Collins Aerospace systems
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Tasks

• •Maintain and improve the Collins Aerospace TM program regionally
• •Drive GT procedures and classification tool (xClass)
• •Train regional classifier focal network on export and import classification
• •Serve as a subject matter expert on classification determination
• •Utilize procedures and tools to determine product classifications
• •Provide oversight and support for the regional classifier network
• •Evaluate classification determinations using performance metrics
• •Offer feedback to classifiers based on data analytics
• •Support the classification verification and escalation process
• •Develop regional standard work for extra territorial controls
• •Enhance regional classification decision trees
• •Onboard new classifier focals onto xClass
• •Collaborate with regional and global GT teams
• •Participate in GT meetings
