Requirements

• Relevant experience and technical product training
• High-level technical product and process knowledge
• Technician training or university degree
• 3-5 years service-relevant professional experience
• Experience with automated or beam systems
• Enjoyment of working in multi-national teams
• Customer management and problem escalation experience
• Strong service and customer orientation
• Very good written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel worldwide
• Communication, teamwork, and assertiveness skills
• Strong hands-on mentality

Tasks

• Diagnose and repair highly complex systems and accessories
• Provide advanced technical support to customers and colleagues
• Install and maintain equipment and engineering upgrades
• Resolve hardware and software failures with imaginative solutions
• Coordinate and implement complex global technical solutions
• Solve unique problems involving cross-functional issues
• Determine cost-effective repairs to minimize customer downtime
• Analyze service KPIs to improve financial impact
• Identify new business opportunities based on customer success
• Complete expense, service, and quality reports on time
• Maintain proactive relationships with customers and sales staff
• Plan and execute complex technical customer training
• Mentor new staff and provide on-the-job training
• Share service knowledge and best practices with the team
• Serve as a certified instructor for regional training
• Act as the local expert for specific technical topics
• Prepare technical documents and define spare parts lists
• Conduct training and support in English and German
