Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or supply chain
- Long-term experience in manufacturing and supply chain leadership
- Certifications in Lean and Six Sigma
- Strong analytical, decision, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to influence key stakeholders in a matrix environment
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and energetic
- Demonstrated project management and/or time management skills
- Fluency in English and German
- CSCP, CPSM, CPIM, or similar certifications from APICS or ISM
- Proficient knowledge of SAP, Zemeter, and advanced scheduling software
- Proficient knowledge in procurement processes
- Proficient in Excel Macro
Tasks
- Standardize and optimize global logistics and procurement processes
- Define the roadmap for procurement and logistics projects
- Lead procurement and logistics improvement projects
- Ensure processes comply with integrity, safety, revenue recognition, and SOX policies
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to enhance order management processes
- Identify projects for metric and process improvement
- Simplify processes while linking them with global operations
- Drive actions to enhance service for internal and external customers
- Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, and stakeholders on procurement processes
- Ensure system controls and training for requisitioners and buyers are maintained
- Identify and prioritize process optimizations to support annual operating plan
- Enhance global logistics and procurement processes through digitization
- Implement global 4PL partner strategy
- Enable logistics information systems for cost and service visibility
- Improve global logistics design using RFID, EDI, TMS, and optimization tools
- Create and manage procurement metrics to drive process improvement
