Global HR Process Owner - HR Payroll and Absence(m/w/x)
Global governance of HR payroll and absence process templates for a data/AI-focused HR transformation department. International matrix organization experience required. Collaboration with HR operations and Finance.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- Further qualification in payroll, HR, or process/project management
- Experience in HR payroll and time/absence management
- Experience in international, matrix organization
- Close collaboration with HR operations and Finance
- Designing, standardizing, and governing global payroll and absence process templates
- Supporting multi-country roll-outs
- In-depth practical experience with global payroll and time/absence solutions
- Experience with related HCM modules
- Strong process management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Defining and using process KPIs for continuous improvement
- English business proficiency
- German proficiency
Tasks
- Own and govern global HR payroll and absence process templates
- Ensure clear documentation and continuous improvement
- Lead global roll-outs and localization of payroll and absence processes
- Align with country-specific legal, tax, and collective agreement requirements
- Drive adoption of new processes
- Partner with HR leaders, IT, Global Functional Teams, Finance, and external vendors
- Translate business needs into system design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Ensure process-driven data quality and compliance
- Manage risk (e.g., data privacy, payroll accuracy, auditability)
- Collaborate with HR Data, Analytics & AI, and relevant HR/Legal stakeholders
- Define and monitor payroll and time-related KPIs
- Identify optimization and automation opportunities
- Lead change management, communication, and training for new or updated processes and system features
Work Experience
- approx. 1 - 4 years
Education
- Bachelor's degree
Languages
- English – Business Fluent
- German – is a plus
