Future Systems Mission Analysis Engineer(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Firm grasp of orbital mechanics concepts and applications
- Support early-phase studies of spacecraft and mission concepts
- Work all aspects of mission design
- MSc. in Aerospace or related engineering discipline
- More than three years of experience in mission analysis, orbital mechanics, or related discipline
- Previous roles reflect hands-on experience with rendezvous and proximity operations
- Strong understanding of classical dynamics, orbital and flight mechanics
- Affinity with optimization problems and methodologies
- Software development experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to give proactive and mindful feedback
- Passion for advancing commercial space industry
- Highly motivated in fast-paced, autonomously driven, demanding start-up environment
Tasks
- Design missions for LEO operations, reentry, rendezvous, and docking
- Support lunar mission planning and analysis
- Develop space debris mitigation solutions
- Manage delta-V and propellant budgets
- Support vehicle sizing and design
- Optimize spacecraft trajectories for launch, orbit transfer, and disposal
- Create and maintain simulation models for spacecraft behavior
- Prepare and update technical documentation
- Collaborate with systems engineers and operations teams
- Conduct multi-disciplinary spacecraft systems trades
- Identify and mitigate on-orbit operation risks
- Propose contingency plans
- Stay updated with space technology advancements
- Contribute to continuous process improvement
