Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing backend services
• Primary language TypeScript (Node.js)
• Go (Golang) or willingness to learn quickly
• Practical experience building REST APIs
• Experience with Express or Fastify in production
• Extensive knowledge of computer science fundamentals
• Knowledge of data structures
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming

• Several years of proven software development and operation experience
• Experience covering full software development lifecycle
• Experience in E-commerce business (ideal)

• Familiarity with Webpack or Vite
• Experience with cloud-based environments

• Experience with SNS/SQS, Kafka, or similar messaging tools
• Good understanding of well-organized codebase

• Capability of implementing unit, integration, end-to-end, and load tests

Tasks

• Design, build, and scale Emma’s technology platform.
• Develop innovative web frontends using VueJS or ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Build event-driven, scalable solutions using AWS services.
• Own the full tech stack (frontend and backend).
• Manage development, maintenance, and operations (DevOps).
• Drive improvements in reliability and performance.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members.
• Foster a collaborative environment for growth.
• Enhance cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve DevOps culture and SRE practices.
