Requirements

  • Deep expertise in payments, e-commerce, fintech domains, checkout, and payment gateways
  • Strong understanding of payment processing flows, authorization, capture, refunds, reconciliation
  • Technical leadership experience with modern tech stack (ideally AWS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or other backend technologies)
  • Excellence in people management, promoting inclusivity and psychological safety
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer/electrical engineering, business informatics, or equivalent work experience
  • Highly proactive and resourceful
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to solve complex business problems through technology
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Open-minded and creative team player
  • Ability to challenge directly while caring deeply

Tasks

  • Oversee the software development lifecycle

  • Minimize system downtime
  • Collaborate with senior and staff engineers
  • Ensure technical excellence of architecture and software
  • Participate in writing and reviewing design docs
  • Engage in pair programming
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members
  • Foster a high-performance culture
  • Define clear roles and career paths
  • Provide regular development feedback
