Requirements
- 3-5 years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Controlling
- Experience from scale-up SaaS or large professional services
- Proven track record with complex financial statements
- Rigorous budget tracking in scale-up environment
- Expert-level P&L knowledge
- Expert-level Balance Sheet knowledge
- Expert-level Cash Flow integration knowledge
- Familiarity with accounting logic and impact
- Sharp eye for detail
- Ability to dig into general ledger for variances
- Willingness to challenge stakeholders on spending
- Solid grasp of SaaS revenue recognition
- Solid grasp of subscription mechanics
- Solid grasp of recurring revenue business drivers
- Power User in Excel/Google Sheets
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools for financial analysis
- Comfortable automating financial reporting
- Comfortable increasing productivity with AI tools
- Experience applying AI in finance workflows
- Excellent communication in English
- German language skills advantageous
Tasks
- Maintain and evolve integrated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement
- Monitor and control departmental spending
- Identify and manage cost drivers
- Allocate resources efficiently across the organization
- Partner with departmental leads on budget planning
- Track and evaluate ROI for operational decisions
- Monitor SaaS-specific KPIs like ARR, NRR, CAC Payback, and Magic Number
- Lead rolling forecast coordination
- Collaborate on annual budgeting process
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Contribute to Board decks and investor updates
