Requirements
- Obsession with understanding how the world works
- 5+ years in top-tier strategy/operations consulting, B2B enterprise software sales, or technical/solutions sales of complex industrial products
- Technical or analytical foundation (Wirtschaftsingenieur, mechanical engineering, BWL with Operations Research, VWL, cybernetics, or similar)
- Ability to read P&L, discuss OEE, and translate into optimization problems and deals
- Proactive and creative in getting things done (outbound)
- Closed or driven six-figure commitments with German mid-cap decision-makers
- German at C1 level or higher
- Full working English
- Cologne-based or willing to relocate
- Master's Degree
Tasks
- Drive new logo acquisition end-to-end
- Conduct outbound sales activities
- Perform discovery calls with potential clients
- Co-create points of view (PoVs) with champions
- Secure executive sign-offs
- Close deals, primarily in the mid-market
- Collaborate on strategic accounts with Dana
- Refine the sales playbook
- Identify what converts PoVs to paid deals
- Determine what makes champions sell internally
- Identify deal killers early
- Build outbound sales capabilities
- Craft cold messaging strategies
- Identify and target key accounts
- Engage with COO, Operational Excellence, and Head of Controlling Office
- Co-shape marketing, PR, media, and partnerships
- Leverage strategic initiatives to enhance sales
- Prepare for future AE hiring
- Interview and hire new AEs
- Ramp up new AEs
