You will drive the energy transition forward by maintaining critical HVDC systems across global sites, ensuring operational safety while managing complex technical repairs and service providers.

Requirements

  • Apprenticeship in electronics, industrial, energy, building, automation, or mechatronics
  • Ideally further training as technician or master craftsman
  • Self-direction, motivation, initiative, assertiveness, and customer orientation
  • German and English language skills at level B1
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally for weeks
  • Driving license class B
  • Multicultural attitude

Tasks

  • Maintain and repair high and low voltage equipment
  • Service HVDC platforms and converter station components
  • Perform short-term troubleshooting on the plant
  • Document all activities using maintenance software
  • Adhere to internal and statutory safety regulations
  • Supervise and inspect contracted service providers
  • Maintain automation, communication, and safety systems
  • Support global projects on offshore platforms and stations
