Requirements

- Fluent German (native-level) and English (C2), ability to lead senior discussions and produce high-quality written outputs
- Track record of cross-functional orchestration across Finance, Compliance/Legal, Operations and sustainability stakeholders, driving alignment and outcomes
- Proven end-to-end ownership of CSRD/ESRS delivery, including Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) and translation into IROs/governance/reporting narratives
- Credible experience covering environmental topics (Scope 3/supplier data/Product Carbon Footprint) and social sustainability/human rights in corporate governance and reporting contexts
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, able to structure work, set governance, move stakeholders from discussion to execution, pragmatic and business-oriented
Tasks

- Apply CSRD/ESRS and EU Taxonomy knowledge
- Conduct double materiality assessments
- Assess upstream value-chain risks
- Integrate sustainability data into reporting
- Apply estimates-to-actuals logic
- Incorporate sustainability into procurement processes
- Strengthen governance and IT systems
- Build supplier capabilities
- Demonstrate environmental and social impact
- Create business value
- Spread sustainability mindset internally
