Tasks
- Manage Germany and US H&S management systems.
- Build and maintain H&S governance, documentation, and processes.
- Ensure alignment with German safety regulations.
- Track ASA cadence and actions.
- Ensure audit and inspection readiness.
- Coordinate occupational health programs with Betriebsarzt.
- Lead risk assessment for high-hazard operations.
- Implement Gefährdungsbeurteilungen.
- Implement safe operating procedures.
- Implement risk-based controls for technical areas.
- Manage contractor safety and permit-to-work.
- Drive technical safety governance.
- Oversee safety for Class 4 laser systems.
- Oversee safety for high-voltage systems.
- Oversee safety for cryogenic equipment.
- Oversee safety for vacuum/pressure equipment.
- Oversee safety for radiation environments.
- Coordinate with LSB/LSO and Radiation Protection Officer.
- Run office and workplace safety governance.
- Maintain emergency organization and drills.
- Manage visitor safety.
- Provide ergonomics and DSE guidance.
- Manage psychosocial risk assessment processes.
- Align shared-premises topics with Facilities/Security.
- Manage incident management and CAPA.
- Lead incident investigations.
- Conduct root-cause analysis.
- Implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely closure and effectiveness checks.
- Share incident learnings cross-site.
- Build capability through training and communication.
- Deliver role-appropriate training to teams.
- Differentiate training for risk environments.
