- Extensive experience in modern TypeScript development
- Experience across both frontend and backend environments
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers
- Ability to lead and moderate key conversations
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working in modern cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled engineering workflows
- Senior-level ownership and decision-making capability
- English at C1/C2 working level
- German language skills
- Additional depth in either frontend or backend
- Cross-functional experience in Product, Design, or analytics-driven environments
Tasks
- Contribute hands-on at a Senior/Staff technical level
- Support architectural discussions and review complex code
- Provide technical clarity to teams as needed
- Coach engineers through growth and development
- Conduct regular 1:1s to set clear expectations
- Define high-quality standards for engineering excellence
- Model agency and strengthen engineering practices
- Drive cross-team technical initiatives and take ownership
- Improve structures, rituals, and processes for scalability
- Lead end-to-end hiring and talent decisions
- Assess technical talent and build a diverse engineering community
- Shape technical vision and organizational design with leadership
- Enhance collaboration between Engineering, Product, and Design
- Reduce complexity and friction in engineering communication
- Remove blockers to facilitate better decision-making
- Lead with competence, empathy, and action
