Requirements

  • •Technical training or degree in automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or computer science
  • •In-depth knowledge of industrial image processing or machine vision
  • •Experience with vision systems (Keyence, ABB, Vision Tools, or similar)
  • •Programming skills in Siemens S7/TIA Portal
  • •Basic knowledge of ABB robotics or ABB controllers
  • •Understanding of automation processes, sensor technology, and industrial communication
  • •Analytical and structured approach to work
  • •Technical understanding and problem-solving skills
  • •Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • •German language skills (business fluent)
  • •English language skills are an advantage

Education

Vocational certification
OR
Bachelor's degree

Tasks

  • •Ensure reliable operation of optical measurement systems
  • •Continuously optimize and develop measurement and detection systems
  • •Design and commission optical measurement systems in automated production
  • •Implement 2D/3D image processing tasks for quality control
  • •Integrate and parameterize industrial vision systems
  • •Connect vision systems to PLC and robot controllers
  • •Support concept development for new automation solutions
  • •Analyze and troubleshoot system malfunctions
  • •Optimize existing systems for improved performance
  • •Document systems and train operating and maintenance personnel
  • •Collaborate with design, electrical engineering, software, and suppliers
