Requirements
- University degree or equivalent training in relevant field
- 3-4 years working experience in carbon accounting or sustainability
- Demonstrated experience in carbon accounting (GHG Protocol Corporate and Scope 3)
- Demonstrated data management experience and Excel proficiency
- Existing knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) science
- Familiarity with databases and tools: EcoInvent, OpenLCA, Climatiq, Exiobase
- Strong command of English language (verbal and written communication)
- Understanding of diversity and ability to work with different backgrounds
- Experience collaborating with large enterprise organisations
- Hands-on work in decarbonisation projects (SBTi framework)
- Proficiency in data tools: Python, SQL, Tableau
- Experience designing or implementing automated data management processes
- Practical experience with openLCA, SimaPro, Ecoinvent databases
- Understanding of supply chain management
- Familiarity with reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, TCFD)
- Sector experience in Fashion, Fleet Management, or Financial Institutions
- Professional proficiency in German or French
Tasks
- Conduct GHG accounting, focusing on Corporate Carbon Accounting
- Manage and analyze data, including activity and conversion factor data
- Scope organizational and operational boundaries
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams
- Support the development of Carbon Management, Decarbonisation, and ESG Reporting software
- Create educational materials and toolkits on emission scopes and categories
- Co-create software development projects with clients
- Conduct research, data collection, and analysis for client projects
- Communicate methods, results, and strategies to clients
- Prepare reports and presentations for clients
