Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable technical field
  • •At least 5 years of professional experience in embedded Linux operating systems
  • •3–5 years of experience in developing embedded Linux operating systems
  • •3+ years of experience in agile product development
  • •1+ year of experience developing with Rust under embedded Linux
  • •Strong analytical skills
  • •Hands-on mentality and high initiative
  • •Enjoyment of working in dynamic, innovation-driven teams
  • •Solid knowledge of Yocto Build Tool, Docker, Bash, C/C++, Python, Rust
  • •Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken

Education

Bachelor's degree

Master's degree
OR
Doctoral / PhD

Work Experience

3 - 5 years

Tasks

  • •Develop and maintain embedded Linux operating systems
  • •Coordinate requirements with product teams
  • •Create and maintain tests for continuous integration checks
  • •Support hardware bring-up of microprocessor PCBAs
  • •Assess impacts and define countermeasures for CVEs
  • •Develop and maintain an abstraction layer application
  • •Collaborate in an agile, interdisciplinary team
