Requirements

  • •Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related technical field
  • •Several years of experience developing embedded systems, ideally in medical technology sector
  • •Strong knowledge of C++ and/or digital control engineering
  • •Experience with Embedded Linux, MATLAB/Simulink, and model-based development is a plus
  • •Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their use in safety-critical systems
  • •Enjoyment of working in agile teams and tackling complex technical challenges
  • •Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken

Bachelor's degree

Tasks

  • •Develop algorithms and workflows in C++
  • •Program low-level software in collaboration with adjacent departments
  • •Create and expand component and module tests
  • •Participate in code reviews and improve development processes
  • •Monitor software quality and implement improvement measures
  • •Design and develop control systems for medical devices
  • •Select and implement control strategies for physical systems
  • •Harmonize control concepts across product lines
  • •Apply model-based development approaches using MATLAB/Simulink
  • •Collaborate with hardware and software teams for system integration and validation
