Requirements

  • •MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, comparable field, or equivalent practical experience
  • •8+ years of hands-on experience in electronic or electromechanical system design
  • •Strong system-level understanding of power electronics and electric drives
  • •Proven experience in requirements and system management
  • •Experience working with suppliers and external partners
  • •Hands-on experience with electronic measurement and validation tools
  • •Solid experience planning and executing product validation and certification activities
  • •Structured, analytical mindset for architectural trade-offs
  • •Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams
  • •Proficiency in English; German is a plus

Tasks

  • •Define and own the electronic and electromechanical system architecture for mobile robot vehicles
  • •Translate high-level product requirements into clear, testable specifications
  • •Dimension and size critical subsystems like batteries and power electronics
  • •Specify and assess electronic components in collaboration with suppliers
  • •Validate components through simulations and laboratory testing
  • •Plan and document system-level verification and validation activities
  • •Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • •Build and monitor system-level reliability metrics
  • •Provide third-level technical support for complex field issues
  • •Collaborate with production to ensure design-for-manufacturability
