Requirements
- University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or comparable field
- Professional experience in embedded software development and quality assurance in automotive industry with focus on camera-based systems
- Profound knowledge in camera image processing, video pipelines, image quality tuning, and sensor configuration for automotive systems
- Experience with serial camera interfaces and protocols (e.g. GMSL, FPD, ASA-ML, CSI, I²C)
- Technical background in embedded Linux software development
- Comprehensive knowledge of architectural modelling methods, tools, and processes
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Business-fluent English
- German is an advantage
Tasks
- Take end-to-end architectural responsibility for camera image signal processing
- Own architecture of video pipelines and signal streams
- Perform image quality tuning
- Handle diagnostic error management
- Derive technical requirements for interior sensing
- Evaluate technical requirements for infotainment use cases
- Elicit technical requirements for video use cases
- Specify video sub-systems
- Align software designs
- Align interface designs
- Collaborate with functional owners
- Collaborate with system architects
- Collaborate with SoC suppliers
- Collaborate with sensor suppliers
- Collaborate with middleware teams
- Provide technical consultation to external partners
- Support suppliers in software design
- Contribute to architecture reviews
- Contribute to technical decision-making
- Contribute to system design across product generations
