Electronics System Architect(m/w/x)
Designing and deploying vehicle functionalities and E/E architectures for commercial vehicles. At least 2 years of automotive E/E systems engineering experience required. International group, Christmas bonus, holiday pay.
Requirements
- MS/BS Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation, Mechatronics, Software, IT or similar)
- At least 2 years of experience in Automotive E/E Systems Engineering
- Commercial Vehicles experience is a plus
- Analytical mindset with knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures and electronic domains
- Solid experience in requirements writing and management
- Use of Requirements Management tools (e.g. Polarion, DOORS)
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of automotive networks and protocols (LIN, CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet)
- Basic knowledge of related automotive tools and diagnostics (SAE J1939, UDS)
- Basic knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
- Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity standards
- Strong communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Leadership skills
- Proactive mindset

- Fluent English
- Availability for short international trips

Tasks
- Manage transition to domain, cross-domain, and centralized E/E architectures
- Design and deploy vehicle functionalities and E/E architectures
- Align designs with customer needs and internal processes
- Define and allocate requirements from logical to physical E/E elements
- Ensure full traceability with networking and electrical distribution experts
- Collaborate with Functional Safety and Cybersecurity teams
- Review system concepts, architectures, and requirements allocation
- Support Function and Component Owners in defining requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality standards
- Interface with suppliers for technology scouting
- Conduct RFI/RFQ activities and roadmap evaluations
- Support solution selection, cost estimation, and innovation adoption
