Tasks
- Define and own global technology and application roadmaps
- Align roadmaps with business strategy and critical technology gaps
- Translate roadmaps into execution plans with milestones and resources
- Lead application innovation from concept to implementation
- Manage incubation, MVP/prototyping, and business handover
- Integrate application and technology expertise globally
- Ensure transparency and alignment of know-how across regions
- Build and scale global application expertise
- Ensure availability and accessibility of application know-how
- Strengthen capabilities in application development and engineering
- Lead Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) as a strategic capability
- Position CAE as a customer-facing door opener for early collaboration
- Coordinate and harmonize CAE tools, methods, and skills globally
- Maintain and expand expertise in post-processing and manufacturing
- Support internal and external stakeholders in welding, laser marking, NMT, SMT
- Embed sustainability and regulatory perspectives in technology scouting
- Integrate circular economy principles into application development
- Develop high-performing, multidisciplinary SIAD teams
- Build talent and succession pipelines
- Balance near-term value delivery with long-term innovation
- Translate innovation into business value
- Enable early customer engagement and support IP generation
- Strengthen Envalior’s positioning as an innovation partner
- Ensure effective handover to R&D, commercial, and business line organizations
- Represent SIAD externally and internally
- Build strong networks with customers, partners, startups
- Ensure cross-functional alignment
- Lead organizational transformation
- Protect space for future-oriented innovation
- Drive adoption of new technologies and operating models
