Director - Negotiations & Contracts EMEA(m/w/x)
Leading negotiations for IP, commercial, and service agreements in pharmaceutical drug development. In-depth IP understanding in CDMO/CMO industry and pharmaceutical drug development process required. Flexible work schedule.
Requirements
- University degree with scientific, technical, business, or legal background
- Several years of experience in pharmaceutical, CDMO, CMO, or venture capital industry
- Strong skills in contract negotiations and transaction management
- In-depth understanding of intellectual property topics in CDMO and/or CMO industry
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical drug development process
- Fluency in German and English
- Team player with hands-on mentality, strategic and analytical mindset, and outstanding communication and collaboration skills
Tasks
- Support regional sales and service teams in implementing service collaborations and contracts
- Lead negotiations on term sheets and contracts
- Develop deal concepts and draft IP and commercial terms
- Review and negotiate standard terms, CDAs/NDAs, and proposals
- Manage service, supply, license, and development agreements
- Execute the process through to completion of agreements
- Act as the point of contact for existing contracts
- Prepare contract amendments in collaboration with the legal department
- Advise on securing and leveraging IP assets to enhance profitability
- Represent product lines at conferences, trade fairs, and industry events
