Requirements
- Broad experience in pre-contract cost planning and estimating
- Broad experience in post-contract commercial management
- Practical expertise and best practice experience
- Comfortable operating in client-facing role

- Managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Experience leading cost management commissions for large construction projects
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters
- Knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering
- Knowledge of life cycle costing
- People management experience
- Experience managing a team delivering a project
- Sound technical experience in all cost management areas
- Good understanding of mechanical, process, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Good understanding of civils, structural and architectural aspects
- Experience in German construction industry
- Knowledge of contractual documentation
- English skills required
- German skills required
- RICS accreditation is a plus
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Deliver complex Real Estate projects
- Act as day-to-day client interface

- Provide estimate and cost planning
- Produce and present final estimates
- Estimate at conceptual, programming, and detailed levels
- Compile feasibility studies
- Prepare procurement reports
- Manage pre-qualification stage
- Produce tender lists
- Analyze tenders
- Produce tender reports
- Compile contractual documents
- Manage post-contract cost variances
- Handle change control processes
- Manage cost checks and valuations
- Ensure timely and accurate cost checking
- Produce monthly cost reports
- Present monthly cost reports to clients
- Lead value engineering initiatives
- Negotiate and settle final accounts
- Maintain liaison with clients and consultants
- Provide leadership to cost management teams
- Ensure delivery of appointed services
- Identify new business opportunities
- Implement improvements for cost management procedures
- Develop cost management templates and products
