As the Director of Communications, you will craft strategic messaging and lead internal and external communications, ensuring alignment with the mission while enhancing presence in the space sector. This role involves engaging with media, managing risks, and fostering a transparent culture within the organization.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field
• •10+ years of international experience in communications, public relations, or corporate affairs
• •Exceptional storytelling skills
• •Ability to drive business goals through strategic communications
• •Significant experience in internal communications
• •Confident and effective external spokesperson
• •Proven experience positioning executives in international forums and media
• •Strong network within relevant media, industry, and government circles
• •Experience leading and developing a small, high-performing team
• •High integrity, discretion, and professionalism
• •Willingness and ability to travel internationally
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German

Tasks

• •Develop a compelling company narrative and positioning
• •Implement a comprehensive communications strategy
• •Design and execute milestone communications for launches and achievements
• •Monitor public perception and industry trends
• •Collaborate with Government Relations, Sales, and Executive Leadership
• •Manage company-wide internal communications formats
• •Foster a culture of transparency and engagement
• •Serve as an external spokesperson for Isar Aerospace
• •Position Executive Leadership Team members as thought leaders
• •Build relationships with media, industry, and government stakeholders
• •Anticipate risk scenarios and oversee crisis management
• •Lead and empower a compact communications team
