Requirements

  • Vocational education as electrician or electrical engineer
  • Fluent English and German skills
  • Medical fitness and willingness to work offshore
  • Minimum 3 years experience operating LV/HV equipment, substations or wind turbines
  • Excellent IT and software skills, Microsoft 365 familiarity
  • Certification as Senior Authorised Person (Anlagenverantwortlicher)
  • Ability to travel in Germany and abroad
  • Switching authorisation 220 kV (desirable)
  • Experience in Electrical Maintenance (offshore wind sector) (desirable)
  • People and Contractors’ management experience (desirable)
  • Radio license SRC (short range certificate) (desirable)
  • Experience in operations of cranes (desirable)
  • GWO modules for offshore works (desirable)

Tasks

  • Oversee daily HV/MV/LV operations and maintenance
  • Prepare switching schedules for maintenance and installation
  • Prepare switching schedules for fault location and repair
  • Manage safety documents for work control system
  • Organize and execute HV switching operations
  • Perform HV isolation and earthing
  • Identify point of work on HV networks
  • Issue safety documents for 220kV HV networks
  • Contribute to staff training on Safety Rules
  • Perform site risk assessments
  • Prepare method statements
  • Supervise electrical maintenance contractors
  • Follow up on contractor performance
  • Report, analyze, and review asset servicing
  • Produce service improvement analysis reports
  • Produce service performance reviews
  • Liaise with Grid Operator, supported by Controller
  • Support daily management of electrical contractors
  • Ensure on-site HSE compliance
  • Ensure electrical safety on site
  • Act as Senior Authorized Representative
  • Maintain records of daily activities
  • Maintain records of subcontractor performance
  • Report KPIs using company systems
  • Document test results
  • Produce site work reports
  • Provide data for maintenance planning
  • Provide regular updates on site activities
  • Maximize yield and production within budget
  • Optimize OPEX by improving maintenance planning
